Heterogonium pinnatum

A terrestrial fern found in S. E. Asia.  It is dimorphic  with the fertile frond being highly contracted.  The sterile fronds are deltoid in shape and broad.  The fern is considered medium size and prefers shade.  One bonus that this fern provides is the adventitious buds that appear along the rachis.  The plant does not produce a profusion of bubils, but the few that it does produce may be  removed and planted.
